In 1992 the managing director and founder of Lamorna Express opened the Cornwall franchise of Amtrak Express Parcels.

Quickly gaining a reputation for outstanding service in overnight parcel delivery the franchise rapidly grew. Winning a number of awards we consistently found ourselves topping the company’s charts for service excellence and sales growth.

We incorporated the Amtrak franchise into Lamorna Express Limited on 1st December 2004 with the aim of broadening our range of services across the UK and overseas.
